In this podcast, we will delve into the heart of transformational cinema with a special guest who is helping to drive change through powerful storytelling. Today, we're thrilled to have Téana David, the Executive Director of the ILLUMINATE Film Festival, joining us.

With a passion for creating at the intersection of ecology, spirituality, and social justice, Téana brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as Co-Director of the Shift Your World Film Festival. Before that, she was the Director of Deepak HomeBase in New York City, curating events with luminaries like Brené Brown, Byron Katie, and Deepak Chopra.

At ILLUMINATE, Téana oversees the world's leading film festival for conscious cinema. Celebrating its 10th year after relocating from Sedona, Arizona to Santa Barbara, California, the 2024 festival theme, "Movies Make Movements Happen," is inspired by physicist David Bohm's holomovement theory. The festival's categories include Science & Spirituality, Social Action, Environmental Stewardship, Indigenous Wisdom, and more, aiming to catalyze movements that change consciousness and elevate humanity.

ILLUMINATE is not just a film festival; it's a global hub for enlightened ideas, featuring special guests such as Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, and Gregg Braden. The festival partners with filmmakers and industry leaders to provide a platform for transformative storytelling, including the annual IFF Filmmaker Accelerator with its industry programs and workshops.

Join us as we explore Illuminate Film Festival and speak to Téana about the incredible impact of the ILLUMINATE Film Festival. And please don't forget to like, follow, subscribe and share this episode or show with your friends and family.

Thank you.
